Jibran Muhammad, Esq., is a former Senior Public Prosecutor and experienced Virginia attorney with a strong background in criminal defense, family law, landlord-tenant disputes, commercial transactions, and real estate matters. Over the course of his legal career, Mr. Muhammad has handled a wide range of complex cases, including jury trials, domestic violence allegations, DUI and reckless driving offenses, arson investigations, child abuse matters, sex offense cases, and other serious criminal charges. His courtroom experience and strategic advocacy have earned him a reputation as a dedicated, effective, and results-driven legal professional.
Mr. Muhammad earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the William & Mary Law School and received his Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Virginia Commonwealth University. During his early professional career, he also had the honor of serving as a Governor’s Fellow under former Virginia Governor Tim Kaine, where he gained valuable experience in public service, leadership, and government operations.
In addition to his criminal law experience, Mr. Muhammad has extensive experience in family law matters, including contested divorces, child custody and visitation disputes, child support, protective orders, and complex equitable distribution cases. He is known for combining compassionate client service with assertive advocacy, helping clients navigate emotionally difficult situations while protecting their legal and financial interests.
Mr. Muhammad also regularly advises clients on landlord-tenant disputes, lease negotiations, commercial transaction negotiations, contract disputes, business matters, and property-related legal issues. His practical and business-oriented approach allows him to effectively resolve disputes while helping clients minimize risk and protect their investments.
In addition to practicing law, Mr. Muhammad is an experienced real estate professional and owner of Capital Homes Realty, where he assists clients with residential and commercial real estate transactions, investment properties, negotiations, and complex real estate matters throughout Virginia. He is also an approved Settlement Attorney with Old Republic Title and is RESA-Certified, allowing him to provide comprehensive real estate settlement and closing services for residential and commercial transactions. His combined legal, title, and brokerage experience gives clients a unique advantage by streamlining transactions while helping protect their legal and financial interests from contract to closing.
Mr. Muhammad is also a member of the Fairfax Bar Association and the Loudoun County Bar Association and remains actively engaged within the Northern Virginia legal and business community.
