Conflict-Screening Notice

Effective Date: September 1, 2026
Last Updated: September 1, 2026

Please Read Before Submitting Information

Somireddy Law Group PLLC welcomes inquiries from persons seeking legal assistance. Before you submit a form, schedule a consultation, send documents, or describe a matter, please read this Notice carefully.

1. No Attorney-Client Relationship

Submitting information, receiving a response, scheduling or paying for a consultation, or speaking with an attorney on a preliminary basis does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship. SLG accepts representation only after completing any required conflict review, confirming that the matter can be undertaken, agreeing to the scope and financial terms, and expressly accepting the engagement in writing.

2. Limit the Information You Submit

At the initial inquiry stage, provide only the information reasonably requested for scheduling, conflict screening, and a high-level understanding of the matter. Do not submit a detailed chronology, legal strategy, privileged communication, original evidence, or sensitive document unless an SLG attorney or authorized staff member specifically requests it through an approved channel.

Do not submit complete Social Security numbers, complete payment-card numbers, bank credentials, passwords, passport numbers, Alien Registration Numbers, medical records, tax returns, children’s sensitive information, or other high-risk identifiers through a general website form or ordinary email.

3. Information Needed for Conflict Screening

You must accurately identify yourself and all known persons and entities substantially involved in the matter, including, as applicable:

  • Spouses, former spouses, partners, children, guardians, and household members involved in a family matter.
  • Employers, employees, petitioners, beneficiaries, sponsors, agents, and related companies in an immigration or employment matter.
  • Plaintiffs, defendants, witnesses, insurers, businesses, owners, and affiliated entities in a dispute or transaction.
  • Buyers, sellers, lenders, title companies, agents, tenants, landlords, and property entities in a real-estate matter.
  • Victims, complainants, co-defendants, agencies, and other known parties in a criminal or traffic matter.
  • Any person or entity whose interests may be adverse to yours.

SLG may request additional names or information. A conflict review is continuing and may identify an issue after an appointment is booked. SLG may decline or cancel an inquiry when professional rules require or permit it.

4. No Conflict-Creation Submissions

SLG does not invite or consent to receiving information submitted for the purpose of disqualifying the firm or interfering with an existing or prospective representation. A person who has no good-faith intention to seek legal services should not transmit matter-specific information.

5. Confidentiality and Privilege

Applicable professional rules may protect certain information received from a genuine prospective client even when no representation follows. However, you should not assume that every unsolicited communication is privileged or that SLG can represent you. Attorney-client privilege generally depends on law and circumstances and is not created merely by labeling a message “confidential.”

6. Deadlines and Urgent Matters

A website inquiry, booking, or payment does not place SLG under a duty to protect a deadline. You remain responsible for every limitation period, hearing, filing, response, appeal, immigration, and court deadline unless SLG expressly accepts that responsibility in writing. Do not wait for a response to an online inquiry when a matter is urgent.

7. Accuracy and Authority

By submitting information, you represent that it is materially accurate, that you are authorized to provide it, and that the submission is made in good faith for the purpose stated. If you submit information for another person, identify your relationship and authority. SLG may require direct communication with the person whose legal interests are involved.

8. Documents, Recording, and Third Parties

Do not upload or send documents until SLG provides instructions. Do not record a consultation without the attorney’s prior express consent and compliance with applicable law. Notify SLG before including an interpreter, family member, employer, consultant, or other third party in a consultation because the person’s presence may affect confidentiality, privilege, conflicts, or the attorney’s ability to proceed.

9. Acknowledgment for Online Forms

The following acknowledgment should appear as an unchecked, required checkbox before an inquiry or consultation request is submitted:

I have read and agree to the Prospective Client and Conflict-Screening Notice. I understand that submitting information, scheduling, or paying does not create an attorney-client relationship; Somireddy Law Group PLLC has not agreed to represent me; I remain responsible for all deadlines; and I should not provide detailed confidential or sensitive information unless requested.

10. Review of Submissions

SLG may use submitted information to conduct conflict screening, determine whether the matter falls within the firm’s services, route the inquiry, communicate about a consultation, and comply with professional obligations. Submission does not require SLG to respond, schedule, accept, or provide a reason for declining a matter.
